As the suspects tried to speed away from the scene, one of the trucks crashed, and the suspect driving that truck hopped into one of the other stolen trucks, police told WWJ.

The suspects were last seen heading southbound on Van Dyke.

Police have not released any descriptions of the suspects, and have not said what colors the stolen trucks are.

Authorities are asking anyone who may have seen something or knows anything about the crime to contact Sterling Heights police.
