FLINT (WWJ) -- Authorities are touting what they say is a significant drug bust this week, following a long-term investigation in Flint.
Michigan State Police announced that the Flint Area Narcotics Group (FANG), in cooperation with the ATF, seized 11 lbs. of crystal meth while executing a search warrant on Monday.
According to FANG, the home where the drugs were seized belongs to a "large-scale methamphetamine dealer" for Genesee County.
The investigation also resulted in the seizure of two lbs. of cocaine and three handguns; two of which were allegedly stolen.
Police not identifying the suspect or suspects at this time, with the county Prosecutor's Office is still determining charges.
In 2022, FANG said it has has seized the following illicit drugs and firearms:
HEROIN - 160.7 grams(.36 pounds)
FENTANYL - 1,373.6 grams (3.03 pounds)
CRYSTAL METH - 11,748.6 grams (25.91 pounds)
