(WWJ) The last two summers in downtown Detroit have been pretty rough.
COVID-19 restrictions made things difficult on businesses. Some bars and restaurants didn't make it through, and many that did have struggled with staffing.
Today, the party has returned to the city for the first "normal" Detroit Tigers Opening Day since 2019.
And if the struggling baseball team can do better this season (as the Tigers are indeed expected to do), could a winning team be just the thing to bring back the crowds?
