
DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are investigating a deadly shooting that ripped through the city's northwest side Friday evening.
Authorities said one person was killed and two people are injured after gunfire erupted on Stoepel Street near McNichols and Livernois around 11 p.m.
Investigators were called to the scene and found a deceased male victim in a parked black truck with gunshot wounds, WDIV reported.
Two other male victims were wounded, but it is unclear where they were when they were hit.
The surviving victims were transported to the hospital for treatment -- their condition remains unknown at this time.
There has been no word on if investigators have identified a possible suspect, but police told WDIV a man as seen walking down the street shortly before shots were fired.
