ANN ARBOR (WWJ) -- A suspected cyber attack on a third-party vendor is affecting University of Michigan Health websites, officials confirm.

According to Director of Public Relations Mary Masson, U of M Health is experiencing issues with its public-facing websites due to a cyber attack on a third-party vendor that hosts several of the organization's sites.

Masson told WWJ that they are working with the unnamed vendor to resolve the issue and hope to have the websites fully functional again as soon as possible.

U of M Health is emphasizing that no patient information has been compromised. The affected domains are public websites, not the patient portal or any site that contains patients' files.

Patients can access the patient portal via myuofmhealth.org.

This is a developing situation. WWJ Newsradio 950 will have the latest details as more information becomes available. >>> LISTEN LIVE!
