ANN ARBOR (WWJ) -- A University of Michigan report shows more than 2,100 complaints were made against Dr. Robert Anderson last year after the sex abuse investigation involving the former sports doctor went public.
U of M’s Annual Security & Fire Safety Report -- which includes three years of crime statistics -- attributed more than 1,100 allegations of on-campus rape, over 900 alleged incidents of fondling, and one alleged off-campus rape to Anderson.

The University says it is unclear how many accusers were involved in the incidents, and notes much of the reporting on Anderson’s abuse was done through anonymous reporting platforms.
Anderson retired from the University of Michigan in 2003. He died in 2008.
