DETROIT (WWJ) A Delta flight going from Los Angeles to New York was diverted to Detroit because of an unruly passenger.
The pilot told other passengers the woman had become “a threat” and they needed to land because of it, according to CBS News.
Once the plane landed at Detroit Metro on Thursday night, Wayne County Airport Authority police officers removed her on a gurney.
A video posted by CBS Morning’s host, Dana Jacobson, who was on board the flight, shows the passenger railing against her removal.

“You all saw me getting physical with anyone on the flight?” she shouted to the other passengers as the officers carried her out on the gurney. “Was I physical with any of you all? Why the f--- do you have to be recording this?”
According to Jacobson, the passenger was drunk and out of control while drinking from a bottle. The woman sitting next to her became fed up and reported her to flight attendants.
Paramedics took the passenger to a local hospital. Based on preliminary reports, airport officials said she did not appear to have any criminal intention but instead suffered from a medical issue.
The FBI issued her a disorderly conduct citation.
