Family seeks help, $2,500 reward offered for tips leading to whereabouts of Southwest Detroit man

DETROIT (WWJ) -- A Detroit family is desperately seeking information in the case of their loved one who's been missing for over a year now.

Abel Galvan, 59, was last seen by his family on April 1, 2022, in the Southwest Detroit area.

On Monday, Crime Stoppers of Michigan announced it is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to his location.

Anyone who has seen this missing person, or who has any information that could help investigators with this case is asked to call the Crime Stoppers tip line at 1-800-Speak Up (800-773-2587).

As always, those who call Crime Stoppers will remain 100% anonymous and will not be required to speak to police. The public can also submit anonymous tips online at this link.
