
PONTIAC (WWJ) - A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered by officials in Oakland Country to those who can give information on a shooting that killed a man on Tuesday.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said detectives are looking for leads in the shooting death of a 31-year-old man after his body was discovered around 3:30 p.m. in an apartment in the 60 block of Surrey Lane in Pontiac on Jan. 11.
According to deputies, the man had multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy to determine the official cause of death is scheduled for Wednesday with the Oakland County Medical Examiner.
While the scene was processed and combed for evidence, the sheriff's office is asking for the public's help with any additional information that could help the investigation.
In a partnership with Crime Stoppers, a reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for tips that lead to an arrest in the case.
