WAYNE (WWJ) -- A grieving mother is pleading the public to help find the man who murdered her two daughters
Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the man wanted in connection with the deaths of two sisters in Wayne County in January.
Authorities are searching for 32-year-old Christopher Lewis Greer, who was identified by police to be the person who fatally shot Dominique Parchmon, 30, and Shyanna Hall, 18, on Jan. 5.
The incident took place at 9:15 p.m. after verbal altercation escalated into a physical fight and then shots were fired. Authorities have not said what prompted the dispute.
The sisters were both found with multiple gunshot wounds at an apartment in the 3300 block of Niagara Street in the city of Wayne.
Officials say Parchmon was pronounced dead at the scene, while Hall was taken to a hospital. Before she died, she told police that Greer was the shooter, according to the U.S. Marshals.
Wayne police say Greer fled the scene in a black 2006 Dodge Charger, which was abandoned and recovered in Ypsilanti township. However, he remains at large.
"This is one of the hardest things we have ever experienced as a family in our lives," said Carol Parchmon, the mother of both victims. "We want you guys to help us find Christopher -- we need justice."
According to police, Greer had dated Parchmon for several years and was her live-in boyfriend.
Greer is considered to be armed and dangerous.
He is described as a black male, approximately 5-foot-9, 180 lbs. He was last seen wearing a dark colored, thick winter coat, a black winter hat and jeans, according to U.S. Marshals.
