MSP says the trooper was able to get the cat out of the road and bring it to safety.
Police released dash camera footage of the cat in the middle of the road.
While it wasn’t immediately clear when or where the incident happened, police say the trooper brought the cat to the Michigan Humane Society for a check-up and a warm spot to sleep.
