
(WWJ) – Tuesday is Election Day 2022, and it’s a big one in Michigan. Voters will decide their next governor, attorney general and secretary of state, as well as a number of other key races.
Not to mention a pair of important ballot initiatives, including whether to enshrine abortion rights in the state constitution.
There’s been plenty of focus on Election Day itself, but what might happen after Michiganders go to the polls? On a new Daily J podcast, WWJ’s Zach Clark looks ahead to what, if any, major changes are ahead, depending on who claims victory on election night. Some experts say what could come first may include recounts, court challenges and lawsuits.
