Where is Linda? Michigan State Police search for 77-year-old woman missing for a week

(WWJ) Michigan State Police are asking for help from the public in the ongoing search for an Upper Peninsula woman who disappeared one week ago.

MSP said Wednesday that troopers from the Negaunee Post are looking for 77-year-old Linda Golden, who went missing from the Eben Junction area in Alger County on Wednesday, Aug. 3.

Golden was last seen at her home in Eben Junction at around 11 a.m., and she has not been heard from since.

Golden is 5'7'' tall, has brown hair and lives with dementia, according to police.

She may be driving her 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee, gold in color with multiple rust spots, which is also missing.

UP news station TV6 reported that MSP helicopters would be air searching the Chatham area on Tuesday, before expand the search out.

On Wednesday, MSP put out another request for tips in the case.

Anyone who has seen Golden or her Jeep, or who has with information on her whereabouts, is asked to contact the MSP Negaunee Post at 906-475-9922, or dial 911.
