(WWJ) -- A wintry mix hit metro Detroit on Monday and resulted in snow, sleet and rain across the region.
A Winter Weather Advisory was in effect for Genesee, Lapeer, Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair, Washtenaw and Wayne Counties until 9 a.m. as drivers delt with snow-covered roads and slick conditions.
There were several spinout crashes reported across, and authorities say drivers should take it slow throughout the day.
Forecasters say temperatures are expected to warm up later Monday morning, causing the wintry mix to turn to only rain.
