History hasn’t shown former President Donald Trump to have much of a sense of humor about himself, but one of his kids had a laugh at his expense over the weekend.
Donald Trump Jr. raised a few eyebrows among Republicans when he reshared a joke about his father on Twitter.
The picture recalled a balloon that was popular at anti-Trump rallies in the U.K. during his Presidency, depicting the elder Trump as an angry baby holding a cellphone, making light of Trump’s propensity to rage on social media.
It was created in protest of Trump’s 2018 visit to London midway through his stay in the White House.
Over the weekend, the Trump Baby was referenced in response to the publicity grabbed by the Chinese spy balloon that flew over the U.S.
last week and was shot down by the American military off the coast of South Carolina.
As things go, it was certainly a light jab at America’s 45th President, but Trump was not particularly amused by the caricature during its run in the spotlight.
The balloon now resides in the Museum of London.
