Eli Sylvester of Murphy, North Carolina was dead set on building his dream treehouse in his parent's backyard.

According to the Fresno Bee, his mother Rachel thought this was an excellent "learning opportunity" for her son, and gave him $200 as an investment towards his goals. After selling homemade crafts including painted chicken eggs, picture frames and magnets, Eli had saved $4,800, and his treehouse was built. Some supplies came through a special request for building materials for his treehouse as birthday and Christmas gifts instead of toys.

Eli wasn't done, however, and drew inspiration from Rachel's Airbnb to list his treehouse as one as well! The treehouse is about about 17x17, and features one full bed that turns into a couch on the main level and two twin beds in the loft upstairs.

And you can rent it for the night to the tune of $150, all of which Eli will be donating to charity.

Eli and his mother started the charity “Raise the Bar” where they plan on feeding 10 families during Thanksgiving and taking 10 children on an all-day field trip. They also hope to give 50 presents to kids for Christmas.
