Two-time major championship winner Justin Thomas has committed to play in the fifth-annual Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club.
Thomas, a 15-time winner on the PGA TOUR, will make his Rocket Mortgage Classic debut this summer. He is currently 15th in the Official World Golf Ranking. The tournament now has six players in the top 25 committed – Max Homa (7), Tony Finau (12), Justin Thomas (15), Collin Morikawa (18), Tom Kim (21) and Keegan Bradley (24).
The majority of the tournament’s 156-player field will be confirmed as final on Friday, June 23, with the likely addition of final player exemptions to complete the field just before the beginning of tournament week. Four players will earn entry through an open qualifier on Monday, June 26.
The Rocket Mortgage Classic is the only PGA TOUR event ever held in the city of Detroit and tournament week at Detroit Golf Club is June 27-July 2. More information is available at www.RocketMortgageClassic.com.
