The Pistons won't be playing the Wizards on Wednesday night in Detroit. They'll be trying to get home from Dallas.
Grounded by a winter storm after playing the Mavericks on Monday night, the Pistons have been forced to postpone Wednesday night's game, per multiple reports.
The team was supposed to fly home Monday, but its plane had yet to take off by early Wednesday afternoon due to an ongoing ice storm in the Dallas area. There's a concern they won't be able to fly out until Thursday.
Nearly 2,500 flights have already been cancelled out of the two major Dallas airports this week.
Wednesday's tilt with the Wizards was was supposed to mark the start of a four-game homestand for the Pistons, who are also scheduled to host the Hornets and Suns this weekend.
The NBA has not yet announced a make-up date for Wednesday's game.
