The first LSU Tigers star off the board in the 2023 NFL Draft is no surprise: It's BJ Ojulari.
The versatile defensive end landed with the Arizona Cardinals at No. 41, one pick after the New Orleans Saints landed an edge rusher of their own in Notre Dame's Isaiah Foskey.
Ojulari, a native of Marietta, Georgia, played three seasons at LSU while racking up 128 tackles, 16.5 sacks, 25.5 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles, 2 fumbled recoveries and two passes defensed.
Ojulari's brother, Azeez, was drafted in the second round in 2021 by the New York Giants.
A handful of other LSU Tigers are expected to have their names called at some point over the weekend, including WR Kayshon Boutte, DT Jaquelin Roy, S Jay Ward and OL Anthony Bradford.
