LSU baseball has made yet another splash in a busy offseason.

The Tigers have hired former Duke assistant head coach Josh Jordan in the role of recruiting coordinator, according to a report from Kendall Rogers of D1Baseball. Jordan is filling post vacated by Dan Fitzgerald, who signed on as the head coach for the Kansas Jayhawks after one season in Baton Rouge.

It's the second coaching addition in a matter of weeks for the Tigers, who hired former Twins pitching coach Wes Johnson to replace Jason Kelly, who had signed on as the head coach of Washington.

Jordan originally joined the Duke staff back in 2012 and added the associate head coach title in 2015. Johnson helped lead the Blue Devils to the program's first-ever ACC Tournament title in 2021, along with back-to-back Super Regional appearances in 2018 and 2019.

He joins a Tigers squad fresh off a postseason run of its own, but one that ended with disappointment after falling in back-to-back games to Southern Miss in the Hattiesburg Regional.
