The hits started before the game for LSU football with the news that starting LT Will Campbell would not be available for Saturday morning's showdown with No. 8 Tennessee.
It was not particularly surprising news, considering the freshman posted a photo to Instagram overnight showing himself lying in a hospital bed and asking for thoughts and prayers.

An LSU official confirmed prior to the game that Anderson would not be active and that the hospital visit was due to dehydration. It remains unclear what caused the issue.
Anderson was replaced on the starting line by junior Anthony Bradford.
The good news for LSU is they were getting back guard Garrett Dellinger, wearing a cast to protect the surgically prepared right hand that kept him out against Auburn. The bad news is the LSU offense was delayed in getting on the field by a muffed kickoff by Jack Bech that handed Tennessee the ball in plus territory, with the Vols taking it in for an early score and 7-0 advantage.
