They may be Tigers, but this LSU baseball squad has gotten a lot of experience dogpiling during the NCAA Tournament.
The latest celebration came on the mound at Charles Schwab Stadium after Gavin Guidry struck out Florida's Colby Halter to secure the 18-4 victory and a 7th national title for LSU.
Check out scenes from the celebration below.
It was a title series that featured several records going down. Ty Floyd tied the CWS record for strikeouts with 17 in Game 1. Florida broke the record for runs with 24 in Game 2. LSU broke the record for hits with 24 in Game 3.
LSU now also holds a rare bit of trivia: They are the first program in NCAA history to win basketball and baseball titles in the same season.
How 'bout dem Tigers.
