Paul Skenes went all nine innings for the first time in his career and struck out 12 Tulane batters, but probably the most impressive moment was a web gem.

There will be steep competition from other regionals being played across the country on Friday, but it's a safe bet that you'll see Skenes in SportsCenter's top 10 plays on Saturday morning.
Skenes, widely believed to be a top pick in the upcoming MLB draft, was just too much for the Green Wave in the regional opener, routinely hitting 99 mph on the radar gun, and even 100 mph in the 9th inning.
LSU will be back in action Saturday evening at Alex Box Stadium where they'll face the winner of the Oregon State-Sam Houston matchup.
