The College World Series is a different kind of postseason animal for one big reason: After Saturday's win, LSU now has the better part of 24 hours to stare down the prospect of winning the biggest game of their lives.

No pressure, right?

Not if you believe several of the Tigers' team leaders when asked about it after an extra-inning, 4-3 win over Florida in Game 1 of the CWS title series. Here's what they had to say.

DH Cade Beloso: “You can’t make it anything bigger than it is, it’s another baseball game and we always take the one game at a time, one pitch at a time approach, and that works best for us. And we’re going to take the same exact approach. We know what’s on the line, you don’t need to say it or it doesn’t need to be broadcasted. The same thing when we were fighting for all season. … We just want to play baseball and we’ve got to play a good game tomorrow, so that’s all we’re focused on.”

SP Ty Floyd: “It’s something we’ve talked about since the fall, it’s what we wanted to accomplish as a team. But we know we still have to take every game at a time and as great as tonight felt, we still know we need to get one more done."

RP Riley Cooper: “It’s cool to think about and stuff, but when it comes down to it, it’s still just baseball and we’re still gonna do the same thing we’ve been doing the whole year because it’s been working for us, and stick to the approach. But yea, it’s fun to think about when I’m just chilling in my room.”

In a best-of-three series, LSU now has two chances to win the 7th national title in program history, but as Wake Forest found out the hard way -- that second chance is a pressure-packed affair and certainly doesn't always go your way. It's unclear who the Tigers will send out to the mound, but in a similar scenario against Tennessee they opted for Nate Ackenhausen, who responded with 6 innings of shutout baseball in his first start of the year.

The Gators will likely turn to Hurston Waldrep, their big right-hander who went 10-3 with a 3.99 ERA this year while striking out 154 batters.

Game 2 starts at 2 p.m. You can catch all the action on WWL.
