The New Orleans Saints were quick to cut down to the 85-man roster threshold this week, but they made a flurry of roster moves Wednesday.

The team signed a injury-plagued former 1st-round selection at wide receiver, a pair of defensive backs and offensive lineman, while cutting four players to stay at 85.

Here's the list:

SIGNED
- WR Kevin White
- OL Caleb Benenoch
- OT Jordan Mills
- CB Bryan Mills
- CB Natrell Jamerson

WAIVED
- WR Jake Lampman
- CB Lawrence Woods
- CB Adonis Alexander
- OL Michael Brown

Saints coach Sean Payton announced the moves after Wednesday's practice. Only four cuts were needed with cornerback KeiVarae Russell added to the COVID list earlier this week, where he won't count against the active roster.

One move that still looms is whatever the team plans to do at kicker. Recently signed Brett Maher was waived earlier this week after he reportedly suffered an injury warming up for the preseason opener against the Baltimore Ravens. As of Wednesday, the team doesn't have a healthy placekicker on the roster with Wil Lutz recovering from surgery to repair a core muscle injury.
