The positive thing you can say is the touchdown counted, but it was a costly one for Chris Olave.
The Saints' star rookie managed to haul in a touchdown pass through tight coverage by Seahawks CB Coby Bryant, but he was tackled hard on the top of his helmet and appeared to lose consciousness on the field for several moments.
He eventually began moving on his own prior to the arrival of trainers and was helped off the field moving under his own power. He was absent for the team's next drive and ultimately ruled out the rest of the way with a concussion.
The play was initially ruled incomplete, but was overturned for a touchdown on review. The score gave the Saints a 24-19 lead early in the third quarter. Olave had a game-high 4 catches for 54 yards at the time of the injury.
The Saints were already thin at the WR position heading into the game with both Michael Thomas (toe) and Jarvis Landry (ankle) ruled out with injuries.
