The New Orleans Saints have been saying it: With better execution, the results will follow.
That's exactly what happened in a 38-27 win over the Colts in Week 8, which Deuce McAllister explained on WWL Radio.

"Man, that’s exactly what this team needed," McAllister told Steve Geller on WWL. "They pared down some of the stuff that they were doing as far as running and they just said, hey, look, this is what we like. This is what we want to do, and you go out and execute it."
All that manifested in two touchdowns apiece for Taysom Hill and Alvin Kamara, the first of which came through the air on an a Kamara option route. Hill ran for a touchdown from 20 yards out and the Saints did what they wanted on the ground for much of the day. Kamara also had a long run for a score on a 2nd and 10 play.
"Even though you led at halftime you didn’t have time of possession until being able to run the football, control the game," Deuce continued. "It keeps your defense fresh, but it also allows you to kind of dictate the pace and dictate some of the things that you wanted to do.”
The Saints now head home to face a Bears team led by another backup in Tyson Bagent, with a chance to get over .500 and potentially take control of the NFC South.
