This year's NFL schedule announcement will be coming a bit later than usual.
The league is expected to put out its 2024 slate of games on May 15, according to a report from Ben Fischer of Sports Business Journal. NFL teams were informed of the news on Tuesday by a memo. Many around the league expected the schedule to be released a week earlier, in line with where it's been in recent years.
The NFL will typically air a special surrounding the release, though details have not yet been officially announced. In recent years each team has also been tasked with creative ways to announce their schedules.
Here are the opponents the Saints will face in the 2024 season:
HOME
- Atlanta Falcons
- Carolina Panthers
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Cleveland Browns
- Denver Broncos
- Las Vegas Raiders
- L.A. Rams
- Philadelphia Eagles
- Washington Commanders

- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Dallas Cowboys
- Green Bay Packers
- Kansas City Chiefs
- L.A. Chargers
- New York Giants
The Saints only landed three "primetime" games a season ago, and only one outside of the Thursday Night Football slot. It's possible that changes this year, with two high-profile reunion games with the Saints and Derek Carr hosting the Las Vegas Raiders, and the Saints also hosting the Denver Broncos and former Saints coach Sean Payton for the first time.
The Saints will also travel to face the Packers at Lambeau Field for the second consecutive season, as well as pay a visit two the two-time-defending champion Chiefs.
