The Saints had five players miss the initial day of practice ahead of Week 13, but WR Chris Olave did get in limited work as he navigates the NFL's concussion protocol.
Among those who didn't practice were WR Rashid Shaheed (thigh) and DE Cam Jordan (ankle), and their availability will be important to monitor as the Saints head into another pivotal NFC showdown against the Lions.
See the full Saints injury report from Wednesday below.

One good bit of news for the Saints comes in the absence of Isaiah Foskey, who has not played since leaving early with a quad injury during a Week 9 win over the Bears. Center Erik McCoy and K Blake Grupe were both limited with injuries. To prepare for Grupe's potential absence, the Saints tried out and signed kicker Austin Siebert to the practice squad.
RB Kendre Miller, S Marcus Maye and LB Pete Werner also missed practice.
On the Lions side of the equation there was only one absence, but it was a familiar name in former Saints LB Alex Anzalone. See Detroit's injury report below.
