The New Orleans Saints are set to make a major shuffle on their offensive line heading into a Week 6 showdown with the Texans.

The Saints will be sending 2022 first-round pick Trevor Penning and will start veteran James Hurst, according to a report from Jeff Duncan of NOLA.com.

Penning struggled mightily in pass protection early in the season, but seemed to take strides the past few weeks. He's consistently had issues in run blocking, and that's where the Saints will likely be looking for more consistency with the move.

Hurst has had his struggle points at guard in his own right, but has experience at LT, starting 16 games there during the 2022 season.

Andrus Peat was listed as questionable due to a groin issue, but will likely slot in at left guard. Max Garcia is likely the backup.

Penning is active and could see action in jumbo situations. He'll be the backup left tackle behind Hurst.
