The New Orleans Saints earned the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs and will host the Chicago Bears for a Wildcard Round matchup Sunday at 3:40 p.m. in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, the NFL announced Sunday night.

The start time is significant as it gives the Saints leading rusher and receiver, Alvin Kamara a chance to play.
Kamara was placed on the NFL’s reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday after reportedly testing positive for the coronavirus. Under the league’s protocols, players that test positive must isolate a minimum of 10 days before being eligible to return.
Based on when Kamara was added to the reserve/COVID-19 list, he’d be eligible to return to the team Sunday at the earliest.
