The New Orleans Saints are kicking off their rookie minicamp on Friday, with 59 draft picks, UDFAs and tryout players set to hit the field.
The Saints announced their full rookie roster on Friday, which includes 30 tryout players. Among that group is QB Kellen Mond, who was cut earlier in the week, along with a handful of local connections from Tulane and Southern.

Rookie minicamp was scheduled to run May 10-12. Of the 60 players listed above, only Kool-Aid McKinstry is expected to miss time due to injury, though he is at the team facility for camp. He also is the lone draft pick to still be unsigned, though that is not unusual for 2nd round selections. Each of the last two Saints 2nd round picks -- Alontae Taylor and Isaiah Foskey -- had their contract negotiations extend through rookie minicamp.
Saints head coach Dennis Allen said the team was targeting June for McKinstry's return to action as he works back from a foot injury discovered at the NFL scouting combine.
