Jameis Winston is set to be the unquestioned leader of the Saints at quarterback in the 2022 season, and if the turnout in Miami this week was any indication -- that group is ready to follow him.

Winston could be seen addressing a group made up of a dozen Saints players and a notable former Saints quarterback (Teddy Bridgewater) as the group wrapped up their final, unofficial, practice in Miami ahead of training camp later this month. The clip was shared by ReapSuperNOLA.

Winston, wearing his red No. 2 practice jersey, first thanked Bridgewater for passing him the torch before talking about the group's "togetherness," and how close a team has to be to win consistently in the NFL.

"Invest in yourself and believing in it, togetherness. Even your friends from outside the league, your brothers from outside the league that’s doing stuff that you’ve known for years and years coming out here to be with y’all because they’re a part of this togetherness," Winston said. "Because we have our own brotherhood."

The group listening to Winston, along with the now-Dolphins QB Bridgewater and Detroit Lions TE Devin Funchess, included the following Saints players that could be spotted:
- WR Chris Olave
- WR Marquez Callaway
- WR Kirk Merritt
- WR Tre'Quan Smith
- WR Kevin White
- TE Juwan Johnson
- TE Lucas Krull
- TE Adam Trautman
- TE Nick Vannett
- RB Tony Jones Jr.
- RB Devine Ozigbo
- FB Adam Prentice

Videos from other days also show WRs DaiJean Dixon, Jarvis Landry and Easop Winston joining for workouts.

Winston hasn't missed any chance to get in work with his teammates this offseason despite a major knee injury that ended his first season as the Saints starting quarterback after just 7 games. He was on the field for all three OTA sessions and all three days of minicamp, wearing a brace on his surgically repaired left knee.

He'll get another chance to work out with the rest of his teammates later this month, with veterans set to report to training camp on July 26.
