A trial cruise set sail from Miami last evening, putting the cruise industry one step closer to resuming operations out of U.S. ports. Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas departed from Port Miami with about 600 employee volunteers on board to test covid health and safety measures before the ship starts welcoming paying passengers. All of the volunteers are vaccinated.
Being a working dad in Louisiana or Mississippi isn’t great. Those states, along with Nevada, New Mexico and West Virginia, are the worst states in the nation for dads, according to a study by WalletHub, which measured each state in four categories: economics and social well-being, work-life balance, child care and health. At the top: Massachusetts, Washington DC, Minnesota, New Jersey and Connecticut.
