Around 8:20 this morning deputies with the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported bomb threat made against H.L. Bourgeois High School in Gray.
Deputies took up positions to ensure the property was secure.
The school’s administration evacuated the building and TPSO conducted a thorough search of the entire facility.
There was no evidence of a bomb and after the school was deemed to be safe the school’s administration allowed everyone to re-enter the school.
Sheriff’s Detectives are working to trace where the threat came from and track down the origination of the threat.
