
The new Margaritaville at Sea cruise line has delayed its launch. The company has canceled multiple voyages after pushing back the inaugural sailing of its flagship – Margaritaville Paradise – to May 14th. The cruise line hasn’t specified what’s caused the delay, though industry experts say it’s attempting a tight turnaround. The line’s last sailing under its old name – Bahamas Paradise – hasn’t even happened yet, set to depart for its final voyage on Saturday.
Oil prices continue to slide. The U.S. benchmark – West Texas Intermediate – is down two percent to 96-dollars a barrel. Experts say the decline is caused by plans from the U-S and the International Energy Agency to release record volumes of oil from strategic stockpiles. The Western world is working to cut itself off from gas exports from Russia.
