The U.S. Coast Guard says it and good Samaritan vessels are responding to a capsized vessel, in the Gulf of Mexico south of Grand Isle.
Severe thunderstorms rumbled across southeastern Louisiana and into the Gulf, bringing high winds in their wake. The damage looked more like the aftermath of a tropical system than spring storms.
