
The Coast Guard is searching for a cruise ship passenger who went missing Wednesday after falling overboard off the Carnival Valor.
It happened Wednesday about 150 miles offshore Southwest Pass, Louisiana. Rescue crews are searching for a 32-year-old, female.
Watchstanders at the Coast Guard’s Sector New Orleans received a call at about 3:00 p.m., which reported a passenger on the Carnival Valor cruise ship had fallen overboard.
The watchstanders directed the launch of rescue crews to begin searching. Coast Guard aircrews are also helping in the search.
