NOPD says bullets were flying Saturday night near North Rampart and Andry Street.
"New Orleans Police are investigating a shooting incident," Sgt. Barry Fletcher said in an email. "Fifth District officers responded to a report of a shooting shortly after 8:30 pm in the 1000 block of Andry Street."
He says officers showed up and found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
"New Orleans EMS transported both victims to hospital."
Fletcher had no further information to release.
