Louisiana voters can now cast ballots in the presidential election.
"You do not need a reason to vote early! All voters may vote early, just like they are voting on election day," according to the Louisiana Secretary of State's website. "For presidential elections, the early voting period is from 18 to seven days before the election (except Sundays and legal holidays)."

The registrars of voters will open their offices from 8:30am to 6:00pm for each day of early voting.
"When you go to cast your vote early, you will be asked to identify yourself with either a photo ID or signature on a voter affidavit."
You can present a Louisiana driver’s license, a Louisiana special identification card, a United States military identification card that contains your name and picture or other generally recognized picture identification card that has your name and signature.
"Early voting is October 18 through October 29."
