As the exodus from the Super Dome commenced after the big game on Sunday, it was clear that those with red paraphernalia weren't very interested in talking much. Their beloved Chiefs fell hard to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Those in green, obviously were all smiles and eager to dish on the game. One fan from Philly said this was redemption.
"This was our comeback. We took what was ours."
Among the reluctant fans of KC, one emerged to give a painful take on what had just transpired.
"It was like watching a bad high school game. I think they were drugged last night. Mahomes, Kelcy, all of them!"
No doubt, they all are heading home now to sulk or celebrate, but all exclaim they will be back. Not if there is another Super Bowl, but at their soonest opportunity because the city of New Orleans made just that much of an impression.
"Keep doing what you all are doing. Y'all know how to make everyone feel welcomed!"
Said the smiling Eagles fan. As for the Chiefs supporter, he gave a compliment of a different sort.
"I'll be back to the city of New Orleans for sure, but I won't be watching the Chiefs ever again!"
