A fatal hit and run in New Orleans East leaves NOPD with few clues and search for the suspect driver.
Last night the body of a woman was discovered in the roadway of the I-10 Service Road near Winchester Park Drive.
Officers were called to the scene around 10:30pm, they found the woman in the road and called EMS.
Medical technicians arrived and declared the woman dead at the scene.
According to investigators, the woman was a pedestrian and is believed to have been struck by an unknown hit and run driver.
