A blaze irrupted today at a boat dock on the Northshore.
"The STPSO Marine Division were called to assist our friends - the firemen - this morning at the scene of a fire at a boat dock off Ox Bow Lane near Covington," the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office posted to social media. "The dock and several boats were on fire."
The dock is on the Tchefuncte River.
"The fire is currently contained."
