
New Orleans Police are being kept busy this morning dealing with four shooting incidents taking place since midnight.
The first one, 12:15am at Franklin and North Derbigny. One man was shot. They were taken to the hospital by EMS.
The next, a double shooting, was reported around 1:20am near the intersection of North Coronet and East Coronet Courts. A man and a woman were shot. Both were taken to a hospital by EMS.
Some two hours later, gunfire erupted on Bourbon Street near the intersection of St. Louis. A man was shot there.
Around the same time a woman was shot on Natchez Street near the intersection of Poydras and Magazine Streets.
Both victims were transported to area hospitals by EMS.
The conditions and extent of injuries to the victims is not known at this time.
It is not known if one or more of the incidents are related.
