Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in the 3100 block of Houma Blvd.
Police say around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, officers were sent to investigate a call of a suspicious vehicle in that location.
"In the back parking lot of the location, deputies discovered a male victim inside a vehicle who was suffering from at least one gunshot wound," said Sheriff's Office Capt. Jason Rivarde. "He was pronounced dead on the scene."
