Boil Water Advisory Parish by Parish

As power is slowly restored to Louisiana, many parishes are under a boil water advisory. Below is a list of parishes and their Boil Water Advisory status.

Jefferson Parish

Boil water advisory lifted for all of Jefferson Parish except for Lafitte.

In conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Health, the Jefferson Parish Water Department is lifting the Boil Water Advisory for the East Bank of Jefferson Parish.

Residents on the East Bank AND West Bank (except Lafitte) may now use water without boiling or disinfecting. Grand Isle remains under a boil water advisory.

Plaquemines Parish

The Louisiana Department of Health and Office of Public Health has lifted the boil water advisory for customers that live from Belle Chasse to Alliance.

The repairs have been completed and bacteriological surveys show that the water is safe to drink.

Terrebonne Parish

Consolidated Waterworks District No. 1 wants to remind Terrebonne Parish that a BOIL WATER ADVISORY IS STILL IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!!

They cannot lift the advisory until power is restored and they are able to obtain and analyze samples.

Lafourche

All of Lafourche except inside the Thibodaux city limits will be in a boil water advisory, effective immediately. If you do not live inside the city limits, you must boil your water. They still have areas that do not have water access, but the Water District hopes to get everyone up and running soon.

St. Tammany Parish

A boil water advisory is now lifted for St Tammany Parish except for the subdivisions listed below:

Alton, Bigner Place, Bon Temps, Del Oaks, Fairview Oaks Business, Gaslight Square, Hunters Haven, Hwy 22 Business, Indian Point, Indian Trace, Mandeville Lake Apts, Parkview, Penn Chapel, Pineland Park, Riverwalk, Tammanend, Timberlane, Wedgewood

St. John the Baptist Parish

Until further notice, all of St. John Parish is under a Boil Water Advisory. Please boil water for one minute before consuming.

Water may continue to fluctuate as Utilities identifies and repairs water leaks and damaged infrastructure Parishwide.

St. Charles Parish

St. Charles Parish is under a boil water advisory. Please limit sewerage usage, including showers and flushing toilets. This is critical to keep our sewer system running at this time.

St. James Parish

A boil water advisory is in place until water is restored according to parish officials. Residents must boil their water before consuming it.
