When LSUPD responded to reports of the disturbance at Tiger Stadium, Green grew "immediately irate." When Green did not comply with officer commands, LSUPD tased him and alerted first responders.

When police attempted to handcuff Green, they say he slapped the handcuffs away and spit at them. He subsequently spit on the transporting officer twice while in the police vehicle while being taken into custody.

Further, when Green was handed over to EMTs for treatment after being tased, he kicked at them, drawing blood from one. He then spat on several hospital staffers and was eventually tased a second time while at the medical facility.

After Green received medical treatment, he was booked on a number of charges including battery of emergency medical service, resisting an officer by force, battery of a police officer, and public intimidation.
