Police investigate a shooting that happened at a gas station in New Orleans East just off of the I-10 exit.
New Orleans police say they got a call of a man shot about 11:49 p.m. Thursday in the 6000 block of Bullard Avenue.
“Seventh District officers received a call of a shooting and upon their arrival learned that an adult male transported himself via private conveyance to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries,” said an NOPD report.
It is unclear if the man was pumping gas at the time of the shooting.
There is no further information at this time as the investigation is ongoing. There is no word on the man’s condition at this time.
