New Orleans Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the Sixth District.
Around 9:41 p.m., Sixth District officers responded to a call reporting shots fired in on South Roman Street, near the intersection with Jackson Avenue in the Hoffman Triangle.
Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male victim suffering from an undetermined number of gunshot wounds.
The victim died at the scene.
