State police, New Orleans police, and U.S. Marshals are investigating a death threat made yesterday against Orleans D.A. Jason Williams.
As The Times-Picayune reports, a Louisiana State Police special unit found the death threat online and is actively investigating.

A source close to the family tells the news source that Williams and his wife, Liz Marcell Williams, wore bulletproof vests under their clothes as they walked into federal court for Williams’ fourth day of his federal tax fraud trial. The federal judge acknowledged the potential threat against Williams and granted special courtroom access to him and court attorneys.
